All about that glow

Highlighting, Strobing the list goes on!
In the land of MUA's its 'all about that glow'.

For the past year now I've be highlighting and contouring my face when I do my make up and there's no going back!
Anyone who knows a bit about make up would know the basics of contouring here's a pic to explain.

It's simple use a dark foundation/concealer on the areas of your face where you want to create structure and definition. Then use a light foundation/concealer where you want to show off eg cheekbones. Every body's face shape is different this is just how I do mine.

Anyhow contouring is brilliant for giving your face the shape you want but it doesn't give that glow/shimmer.

Inglot sparkle dust is my favourite thing to use as a highlighter. It comes in 4 different shades (I use 02) and retails at only €20 which is brilliant considering I have mine months and have used it about 300 times!

The good thing about the sparkle dust is you only need to use a tiny bit and it's really easy to apply. I use a small blusher brush and apply it to the top of my cheek bones here's a picture of a make over I done and you can really see the fab finish the sparkle dust leaves.

Another product I've only recently started using is the MAC Strobe Cream. (A bit more expensive than the sparkle dust).

To be honest I wouldn't be a big fan. Although it smells and looks amazing it doesn't give a good glow. You can use it a few different ways either as a base before your foundation or apply a tiny bit like the sparkle dust when your foundation is done. I preferred before my foundation I thought this gave my foundation a real dewy finish. After the foundation was good too but it kind of made my foundation sticky.

Hope this helps, Happy highlighting ☺️
