All about that glow

Highlighting, Strobing the list goes on!
In the land of MUA's its 'all about that glow'.

For the past year now I've be highlighting and contouring my face when I do my make up and there's no going back!
Anyone who knows a bit about make up would know the basics of contouring here's a pic to explain.

It's simple use a dark foundation/concealer on the areas of your face where you want to create structure and definition. Then use a light foundation/concealer where you want to show off eg cheekbones. Every body's face shape is different this is just how I do mine.

Anyhow contouring is brilliant for giving your face the shape you want but it doesn't give that glow/shimmer.

Inglot sparkle dust is my favourite thing to use as a highlighter. It comes in 4 different shades (I use 02) and retails at only €20 which is brilliant considering I have mine months and have used it about 300 times!

The good thing about the sparkle dust is you only need to use a tiny bit and it's really easy to apply. I use a small blusher brush and apply it to the top of my cheek bones here's a picture of a make over I done and you can really see the fab finish the sparkle dust leaves.

Another product I've only recently started using is the MAC Strobe Cream. (A bit more expensive than the sparkle dust).

To be honest I wouldn't be a big fan. Although it smells and looks amazing it doesn't give a good glow. You can use it a few different ways either as a base before your foundation or apply a tiny bit like the sparkle dust when your foundation is done. I preferred before my foundation I thought this gave my foundation a real dewy finish. After the foundation was good too but it kind of made my foundation sticky.

Hope this helps, Happy highlighting ☺️

My Top 5 Fav Snapchatters

I think everyone is a little bit addicted to snapchat, I look at bloggers story's all day long. I hate to say it but I'm such a boring snap chatter all I send is food and selfies 🙈😂. The noise of my voice on the camera makes me want to crawl under a rock and never come back out so I don't really use my snap chat for blogging (just yet). However here are my top 5 favourite bloggers on Snapchat and why. My name on snapchat is: Daniellemcdade if you's want to add me also ☺️

1) Is of course my fav @Facesbygrace23 I watch her snapchat story all day every day. I'm following her a good while now and she's my favourite blogger because she's so down to earth.

2) Is @Jameskava I've only recently started watching his snaps and my god this fella is Gas!! His snapchats are so random.

3) Is @SoSueMe she doesn't snap as much as other bloggers. But I think Suzanne is a great role model for young girls she's so successful and very genuine that's why she's one of my favourite bloggers.

4) Is @TheNakedBlondie this girl is such an inspiration. She has lost a 100Lb!! She follows Slimming World and her snap chats are so helpful for anyone trying to loose weight. She's so honest about everything and I think that's a must.

5) Is @TooDollymakeup I met this girl at the Foodys Pharmacy event. She is lovely. I love her snapchats because basically she doesn't give a rats Haha she's so funny on snapchat and gives great bargain beauty tips.

Anyhow give these a follow if your all up for bloggers or just want a giggle.

Happy Monday here's to a fabulous week.

The H&M Beauty Range

I GOT A JOB!!!!!!! (about time) lol.

So I started my job in H&M last week (explains no blog for two weeks soz) and I was absolutely over the moon when I got the call to say I got the job. They launched their new beauty range last Thursday and wanted someone with beauty/make-up knowledge on hand to help all their customers.

Make up is my passion and I love giving tips to people and hearing theirs! So this job is right up my street.

The new beauty range is amazing and so cheap! The packaging is fab it looks so expensive, They have everything from make up, face masks, individual lashes to nail polish and files etc.

My Favorite thing so far is the lipstick, there is over 30 different colors and yes I want them all. They are only 9.99 which I think is pretty reasonable.

Another favorite of mine is the eye shadow palettes, you can buy loads of different eye shadow colors on their own but why not get more for your money and get the palette, The palette has 9 different  shadows in it. My favorite is of course the nude palette.

If anyone is around Liffey Valley pop in and say hi, Id be happy to help with all your beauty needs, and the make up is just too good to pass.

Anyhow to celebrate my new job I will be having a little giveaway on my Facebook beauty page next week, I'll leave the link below. Make sure to enter and sure give my page a like while your there.

Them winter feels

Hey Everyone,

Happy 1st of September, am I the only one who absolutely hates the winter? (I know September is autumn but whatever its FREEZING!)

You see all these quote pictures on Instagram like 'Hello Winter, Movies, Hot chocolate etc' when in reality its like walking to the bus stop in the lashings of rain trying to make it to college on time, you cant even have a hot chocolate when you get into the canteen because your too busy working on your Ibiza bod already for next year haha. Ok that's enough of been a negative Nancy for one day. (Soz)

So here it goes my first fashion post, hope ya'll enjoy :-)

After a bit of browsing I picked my favorite winter jackets/coats prefect for going back to college.

1) This leather trench coat is from River Island and is 127 Euros (a bit pricey I know) but I think its better to invest in a good winter jacket it'll save you money in the long run. I love the fur on this and black matches everything so this is a winner for me.

2) This waterproof MAC jacket is from Boo Hoo and its only 54 Euros a bit more reasonable! Its available in yellow, baby blue and white. The pink was my favourite doh I thought it was so cute and girly and it has a real festival look about it.

3) Ok so you'll probably end up soaked but I am in love with this, its so classy. This camel trench coat is from New Look and is only 50 Euros. You'd definitely get your moneys worth for this because you could wear it in the night time too.

4) Last but not least is this fab bomber jacket from Top shop it is available in black, navy and green. Green is my fav even doh I couldn't get a pic weh. This is prefect for throwing on and its so casual but stylish at the same time. Its only 74 Euros.

Best of luck to everybody going back to college or starting a new job. Here's to a successful and positive year.
